Little green peas by Keith Baker (2014)

I have never been a fan of the humble pea, but Keith Baker’s peas are anything but humble; these things are magnificent! These peas paint, they picnic, they play baseball and they party. All their activities are accompanied by a giant colour and some pretty snazzy rhymes.

The sentences are simple and the illustrations are big and bold, so it’s a great choice for reading to a large audience of small people.

Peas might be growing on me…
