The rain train by Elena de Roo; illustrated by Brian Lovelock (2010)

Pitter pattering with great words The rain train is what reading aloud is all2015-01-25 16.36.59 about.

“Glide from the platform

Tissssshhhhhhhhh

Slow through the station

Ca-chish, ca-chish”

With lovely deep midnight-coloured illustrations, this is a beautiful book to experience with both with your ears and your eyes.
