Tiara Saurus Rex by Brianna Caplan Sayres; illustrated by Mike Boldt (2015)

[Published by Bloomsbury]

Speed review number 4

Some great creations are made when two unlikely things are thrown together and spun around a few times. Take a bunch of gorgeous dinosaurs, enter them in a beauty pageant and you have today’s work of entertainment. Surprisingly, the strongest contender is possibly not the most beautiful, but she does have the largest number of very sharp teeth.

Told in pacy but slightly challenging rhyming text, it’s worth a practice read-through before you unleash Tiara Saurus on your audience of dinosaurs-lovers/princess fans!
